TCM - CGF YOUTH TRAINING CENTER

The main goal of the Czech Golf Federation (hereinafter referred to as CGF) is to build a long-term functional system of education for children and youth, thanks to which new talented players will be identified. The secondary effect of this system will be the general motivation of CGF member entities (hereinafter referred to as clubs) to increase the number of active young golfers, i.e. the further development of golf in the Czech Republic. For this purpose, the CGF grants clubs the status of CGF Youth Training Centers (hereinafter referred to as TCM). TCMs aim to find and educate young talents for performance and top golf (i.e. national representation).

TCM - youth training center - course overview spring 2025

• option to choose between recreational and performance groups (recreational group is focused on quality leisure time, performance group is focused on sports golf)
• courses start in the week of 31.03.2025
• course length 12 weeks
• price applies to GCHOD members (non-member + 100,- CZK for 50 min)
• for courses 1x per week can be increased to 2x per week in any combination within individual groups according to the specified times and prices
• course price includes professional trainer, training balls, warming up in winter, entrance to practice areas and entrance to the course
• 10% discount for siblings
• free club rental for the duration of the course

Information for parents of children and youth at TCM GCHOD

• The main goal of TCM GCHOD is to teach golf to all age and performance groups of children and youth
• Youth Training Center (TCM) is a status that is granted to individual clubs under predetermined conditions by the ČGF
• GCHOD has all the prerequisites for quality training of children and youth within TCM
• GCHOD is part of TCM CGF (Czech Golf Federation)
• TCM GCHOD offers a wide range of training courses for children and youth aged 4 to 20
• Currently, 8 fully qualified golf professionals with extensive experience participate in TCM
• GCHOD offers training courses with a uniform duration of 12 weeks with a frequency of 1-2 times a week for 50 or 100 minutes
• Courses take place 3 times a year (spring, autumn and winter) + spring training camp

• In each age group, starting with the course from 31.03.2025, we open a "recreational" and "performance" course

• Designed for young athletes who want to have fun with golf and play primarily for fun

• This course is designed for players who want to achieve stable good positions in sports golf in the future
• Participation in this course is a prerequisite for potential representation of the club in team competitions
• Given that GCHOD is a sports club, it provides "benefits" to performance players
• In both types of courses, we teach children to play great golf!
• It is always possible to transfer from one category to another after completing individual courses!
• We approach each player individually as much as possible!
• We will be happy to recommend to parents, in agreement with the coach and club management, which course to enroll your child in!

Failure to attend training for any reason cannot be compensated for in other classes and there is no entitlement to compensation (exceptions are assessed by the club manager).
If classes are cancelled due to force majeure (e.g. very bad weather, Covid-19 pandemic, etc.), an alternative date will be announced.
TCM is supported by subsidies from the National Sports Agency, the Prague City Hall and the Prague 4 Municipal District.
